So, here we are at the new look Symi Dream. It’s a place to come to find out what we’re up to on Symi. As before, we’re not a news service though we do share snippets that we hear, with the proviso that if you want real news you need to read a decent local newspaper, see the official town hall website and so on. We’re not a shop though you can find links to places that sell my books and Neil’s calendars and photos. Neil, in time, should have his own professional photography services page and all that jazz, and things like that will be announced here. You’ll still be able to find out Symi photos and info at the old site and you can find that in the top menu here with the ‘Symi Dream Archive’ link.
You’ll see that things are a lot simpler here; links to my About site, my book news, a few other places and that’s it. All the other links and things are still on the old site which will stay where it is, so, to find links to Symi boats, holiday ideas, name days, galleries, and so on, simply follow the Archive link.
And there we go. So, it’s now Friday and I am getting this ready in advance as I have to help Neil empty the last of the shop and move into his new office upstairs. We’ve also got his unofficial birthday tonight (his real one is in September when everyone is working so Jenine invites us to Halloween at her house and we share it with Neil’s non-birthday), and I am looking forward to a weekend of writing, as I always do. I never seem to get one, but I am always looking forward to one.
So, welcome to the new look blog, I hope you like it, it will still be my same old off-the-cuff blogging complete with typos and errors, and should be here on the same almost-daily basis. Enjoy!
